IWC has added to its long-standing Ingenieur collection with three new exclusive timepieces. Each one drawing inspiration from classic motorsports, the new chronograph watches – Ingenieur Chronograph Editions 'Rudolf Caracciola', W 125 and 74th Members' Meeting at Goodwood – all feature a mix of vintage charm with modern sophistication.
The new Alpiner Heritage Manufacture KM-710, a vintage watch inspired to the timepieces created by Alpina for the German Kriegsmarine (Navy) in the 1930s, it looks at the originals in terms of case, dial and hands design but updates the model to today’s standards in a contemporary re-interpretation.
The original Histoire de Tourbillon was debuted in 2009. It never cease to amaze us with its exceptional craftsmanship and high level of sophistication. In Baselworld 2016, we see the introduction of the Histoire de Tourbillon 7, leaving everyone eager to find out what Harry Winston has come up with to impress us all once again. Like previous models, the Histoire de Tourbillon 7 is limited edition and comes in 20 pieces; 10 pieces in red and 10 pieces in anthracite.
The new HYT H4 RC44 comes in blue liquid, technical design, the same colour codes of the regatta and an ultra-light carbon case like the RC44’s hull. And the last detail that we will only see at HYT: A seconds wheel that emulates the golden bar that the monohull raises when it is winning. In terms of finishing, the H4 RC44 is in skeletonised mode. A transparent sapphire disc displays the minutes with a central black minute hand.
A lotus with a dark side bursts into flower as the latest model in Urwerk’s 106 series. Within the UR-106 watch turns a shadowy carousel, encased in gleaming black under an arch of jet-black diamonds. This watch looks vivid, shocking flares like a firework in the night, focusing the mind on the essential — the hourly milestones of time, as they rotate into position to accomplish their 60-minute patrol.
Cvstos Challenge Chrono II is a great skeleton collection. While Cvstos doesn't produce their own movements, they produce parts of their own movements in-house. They also utilize a lot of exclusive movements and specialized parts thanks to the loving attention and particularity of brand designer Antonio Terranova.
